In the cup, the Kenyalang × Mustefa Abakeno Blend offers a layered and expressive profile, marrying the earthy depth of Indonesian wet-hulled coffee with the aromatic sweetness of Ethiopian natural processing.

In black, the aroma opens with gentle florals and dried fruit — think dried figs and raisins — followed by a comforting sweetness reminiscent of manuka honey and sweet chocolate. The first sip is rounded and calm, led by soft fruit sweetness rather than sharp acidity. The wet-hulled Kenyalang provides structure and a grounded mouthfeel, while Mustefa Abakeno contributes lift through subtle floral tones and natural fruit complexity. As the cup cools, flavours deepen into cocoa powder, honeycomb, and light molasses, finishing clean with lingering sweetness and a soft floral echo. The body is medium to medium-full, smooth and reassuring, making it an easy yet thoughtful black coffee.

In white, the blend transforms into a creamy, dessert-like experience. Milk amplifies the sweet chocolate and manuka honey character, creating notes of milk chocolate, honeyed caramel, and dried dates. Floral nuances remain present but gentle, adding elegance rather than sharp contrast. The Indonesian base ensures the coffee doesn’t get lost in milk, while the Ethiopian natural adds aromatic sweetness that keeps the cup lively. The finish is silky, comforting, and long — sweet without heaviness.

Overall, this blend is designed to be versatile and emotionally warm: expressive enough for black-coffee drinkers who enjoy depth and nuance, yet indulgent and comforting in milk. A coffee that feels grounded, sweet, and quietly complex — equally at home as a morning espresso or a slow afternoon white.
