At the celebrated Suke Quto farm in Guji, producer Tesfaye Bekele continues his mission of ecological farming and clean, expressive processing. His washed lots are known for their clarity and balance—gentle fermentation, meticulous washing, and slow raised-bed drying that preserve the purity of Ethiopia’s heirloom varieties.

This cup shows the classic composure of Suke Quto but with a deeper aromatic lift: opening with earl grey citrus and a soft purple-flower florality, followed by the juicy sweetness of kyoho grape and a structured stone-fruit finish. Bright yet calm, fragrant yet silky—an elegant expression of Guji’s washed profile.
